1st YES Assembly Pointed Students Towards The Right Direction
Boardwalk Business Ventures, through its Young Entrepreneurs' Sponsorship (YES) Program, recently held the very 1st YES Assembly for the future business tycoons and successful entrepreneurs of the nation, our students.
Hosted by Boardwalk Sales Supervisor Arlene Carangalan, the first-ever YES Assembly gathered more than a handful of goal-oriented and career-minded students, coming from different schools and universities in the country, to plant the seeds of their own future and get on the right vehicle for success.
The future leaders of the country were treated to a soulful performance by the Children's Joy Foundation, a place where children will always have a home and be given the opportunity to live out their dreams and become the country's industry movers, just like the promising students in attendance for Boardwalk's 1st YES Assembly.
The Children's Joy Foundation seeks to assist neglected, abandoned, and surrendered children and help them in achieving their dreams through better education, physical and spiritual nourishment, and above all, guide them to become God-loving and God-centered individuals.
As its name states, the Children's Joy Foundation seeks to assist marginalized children to enjoy life to the fullest in a protective and caring environment, helping them shape their own future.
The Pro Dance Crew of Far Eastern University got the 1st YES Assembly going with a dance number, much to the delight of their fellow students before Boardwalk's Sales Division Head Mariton Ereneta took the stage to thank everybody for coming.
Ms. Ereneta told the students that each one of them can succeed in life as it all boils down to how much they want it. She also told the students in attendance that Boardwalk's first-ever YES Assembly will teach them how to go after their dreams.
More importantly, students will discover what it takes to BE A STARPRENEUR.
The YES Generation Club Officers from URS Binangonan and UE Recto took an oath to help their fellow students bring out the best within each and every one of them while letting their members experience the best of what being a YES Generation Club member is all about.
Special guest speaker Carl Balita was also on hand to teach the students about the keys to reach success, perhaps the highlight of the first-ever YES Assembly, Mr. Balita provided a motivational and educational talk as the students listened intently, each ready and willing to make their dreams a reality.
Mr. Balita told the students that everyone can be successful and that it all depends on how much you want to be a success. He also reiterated that Boardwalk is the perfect vehicle for them on the road to successl. With the promising business opportunities Boardwalk provides to every Filipino, and now, to goal-oriented students of the country, the future is indeed brighter.
The Boardwalk Style Council mannequins were also there to join some of the students for a short fashion show as the students were given a glimpse of what the Style Council does and what they can do for them.
As if that wasn't enough, the students were treated to a special guest appearance by Boardwalk celebrity endorser Rich Asuncion who even danced with two volunteers much to the delight of the crowd.
Raffle prizes were drawn all throughout the event, making sure that each student didn't go home empty-handed.
We would like to thank all of our students who provided special numbers such as Leslie Ramayan of Infotech Marcos Hwy and Franco de Asis of St. Jude College. We would also like to thank the kids from the Children's Joy Foundation for providing the 1st YES Assembly with Christmas cheer.
To our sponsors; Ms. Rosel Opeda of Smart who gave away two Netphones and a Pocket WiFi, F Salon who provided the hair and makeup for the event's fashion show, and our merchant partners Padi's Point, Netopia, Lazer Maxx, Tom's World, Zen Zest, and Delivery.PH who gave away gift certificates and other raffle items for the students, we would like to once again extend our thanks to you.
And finally, to all the students and faculty who took the first step in becoming a STARPRENEUR, thank you.
The first-ever YES Assembly epitomizes what being a member of the YES Program is all about: fun, and full of surprises, proving that every member of the YES Program can be successful and do so whilst remaining fashionable, thanks to Boardwalk.
They can also expect to be guided by experts like Carl Balita, and our very own Boardwalk Sales Division Head Mariton Ereneta to help them get where they want to be. Owning your very own success story has never been this fast, this good, and this easy. All thanks to Boardwalk and the Young Entrepreneur Sponsorship (YES) Program.
