• Boardwalk Business Ventures, Inc. recently held its very first bloggers' forum last 11.11.11 at Ming Restaurant in Ortigas, and it was a scintillating success!

  Appropriately dubbed Eat. Play. Blog., the event was a congregation of the top bloggers of the blogosphere as each of them got to meet up with their fellow bloggers for one night of fun and excitement made possible by the top-selling and fastest-growing direct-selling company in the country.

  Hosted by Ace Gapuz, Edward Watson, and one of Boardwalk's top runway models, Gerard Sison, Eat. Play. Blog. informed the bloggers about what Boardwalk has in store for each and every one in the coming months, starting with the biggest advocacy run ever, 11.20.2011 A Run For The Pasig River.

  Spearheaded by the ABS-CBN Foundation, this charitable undertaking aims to clean up the Pasig river and break the World Guinness Record it set last year for most runners ever assembled in a single event. 150,000 runners are expected to converge this year and Boardwalk urged all the bloggers to take part and be counted among the 150,000-strong field who will all do their part to save the river.

  And as if that wasn't enough to get them going, the hosts announced that the bloggers will get the chance to dress up some of Boardwalk's finest models that include the event's very own host, Gerard. He was joined by Job Gayta, Koloud Alshammari, Sirene Sutton, Rommel Bungay, and the lovely Justine Gabionza, who acted as mannequins for our bloggers.

It was exhilarating for all the bloggers to dress up Boardwalk's runway models. The hosts then revealed that the models they dressed up will be a part of the Boardwalk Style Council, their champions in the world of fashion who will give new meaning to what's stylish, sophisticated, classic, and modern.

The Style Council will make themselves available on social networking portals like Facebook and Twitter to let them be able to communicate with the young generation.

Then it was the bloggers' turn to be dressed up as volunteers from the crowd stepped up to let themselves be styled by Boardwalk's talented stylists, led by our resident style genius Avel Bacudio. The fashion pieces our stylists put on our bloggers were incredible as each piece fitted each of the volunteers perfectly. The best part, the volunteers got to take home the clothes the boardwalk stylists dressed them up in!

The hosts told the guests that finding the clothes that fit them perfectly is exactly what the Boardwalk Personal Shoppers will do for each and every one. Shopping just became easy because they don't have to stand in those long lines again, now all they have to do is give their Personal Shopper a call at 631-9999 and they'll do the rest. Before the night was over, the hosts thanked everyone for coming before giving away some of the newest fashion pieces straight from Boardwalk's catalogue to all the bloggers who came for free.

In the end, it was a fun-filled event as each of the guests came home happy, asking when will be the next bloggers' event.
